This and That

Time to catch up on the many things that have kept us busy over the last few weeks. We visited East Texas and Grandma and Grandpa. It was great fun to see them and as always we had a super time. They live in such a beautiful places and the girls had a great time paddleboating, fishing with dad, playing tennis and putt-putt. We also got a surprise visit with Uncle Don and Aunt Maria. There was also nature walking and a possible bobcat sighting!

We have spent fun time swimming with grandmother and doing some back to school shopping. We have many afternoons at the pool with our friends and that has been some fun and relaxing.

Camryn went to work with John just to hang out and see what happens at the office all day. She had great fun but is not quite ready to enter the world of work. Bright Eyes has been busy and we are very excited about a girls night out we are holding with some other friends who have their own business.

Camryn and Ryanne also got to go to Ft. Worth for 4 days to see Jackie and Hali. This may have been the highlight of the summer. They had a wonderful time and were treated to so much fun and I am sure many laughs. They have such a special relationship with their cousins and we are so lucky to have them. We were also treated to a day with Zander and can't wait to be with him at the beach in a few weeks.

Our summer nights have been spent throwing more washers with Tim and Jen and having game night with the Baughmans where the women were smoked in almost all events - frisbee golf, dominoes, "woofle" ball, and golf. Rana saved the day by grilling perfect "lamb" chops on the grill. John got a new toy - a 8x4 boat with a trolling motor. Jonh and Jim have taken it out on a maiden voyage and they came back dry but without any fish.

School is just around the corner but we have lot's of fun on tap before it gets here. We are off to Fiesta Texas this week and to the beach next week. We can't wait and are excited to end summer with a bang. Next up - school, dance, sports and season tickets to the Horns!

Absolutely L-O-V-E the slideshow. How is it that I see your kids all the time but they look soooooo big in these pictures??? Growing up too fast.
subject change---next game night we will NOT lose everything we play.
